Ubuntu, ARG!
Okay. Does anyone else HATE Ubuntu? I’m so frakking tired of hearing about it. Everyone talks about it. It is always on Digg.com, and it irritates the hell out of me. It’s not that perfect. Oh, “Apt-Get/Synaptic is so great.” Um.. Debian anyone? It’s based off it. I’m just tired of people always talking about Ubuntu. There are SO many other distributions out there, that have so many great features that get over looked because of this Ubuntu cloud. I don’t really hate Ubuntu, I think it does help spread the idea and concept of Linux, but I don’t want people to be making Linux and Ubuntu synonymous. That scares me. The elegance of Linux comes from choice. Let’s keep that choice around.
